» Red - Animal Hero Saves Family... Lynn, I am not a runner but have many wonderful stories of animals from both my past and the present.I loved your story and your wonderful cat should be given a medal. We never know what courageous feats animals can perform to save their masters. Having a bond with an animal is a wonderful thing. We can trust them with our lives and their love is unconditional - the best kind. The only other place we get that is from children. Take care, Lynn and thanks for sharing this story with us. Let us know when the program airs. -- posted by Red » ShroudedPrincess - Aggie the Cat I thought it was really marvelous that your cat was able to do this , even blind. I bet that man became very afraid of houses with cats! It reminds me of several years ago someting similiar occurred at my mother's home. She has a Siamese who has a habit of crouching on top of tall bookcases and such. A robber tried to break in one evening when no one was home only to have the cat jump on his head! He was caught when he went in for stitches as he was clawed around the sides of his eyes. (Very small town! LOL) Guess they didn't breed those Siamese for temple guardians for nothing! Give Aggie a pet from me, she deserves a big treat! P.S. Does this mean you will have to post a warning sign..Beware..guard cat on duty???-- posted by ShroudedPrincess » Lynn - Re: Aggie the Cat In response to message posted by ShroudedPrincess:I had a good laugh out of your post.. just thinking about the robber being caught because of going to the doctor is sooo funny! Animals really enrich out lives in so very many ways. -- posted by Lynn » biogardener - Aggie strikes again. Well, Lynn, we got to see you and your attack cat a second time. Since watching her the first time, Ernie and I have been watching the program "Animal Miracles" many times, including last night, and, lo and behold, it was a repeat of your wonderful story. I guess the summer programs are all repeats. This time, I watched a little more closely and noticed that the front of your house looks just like the one my family owned for 30 years. The design of the bannister is certainly identical. That house in Winnipeg was build early in the last century. I found a 1917 copy of a Saturday Evening post under the roof. That must also be the age of your house. -- posted by biogardener » Lynn - Re: Animal Hero Saves Family... In response to message posted by Red:Hi Mary, always nice to hear from you. And - I could not agree with you more. I have tried to find out when the next showing will be in Canada, I have not been able to. So if anyone finds out, please post that here for all our Canadian friends. -- posted by Lynn » Lynn - cat Aggie, new web site Aggie is at www.laceyville.com/aggie she will be 15 years old April 2004.
