I remember hearing something about this but since Rotties were not my breed I never really looked into it. This is very interesting. I know Rotties were used to carry money but not as drovers. That is really cool... Great stuff... smile

Thanks, Pat. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, droving was one of their main funcitons. If you liked that article, you might get a kick out of one of my older articles title "A Real Blue Collar Dog". It goes into the history of the breed more, and some of their functions.
