So sad that you didn't like The Matchmaker! It's one of my favorite movies and I've seen it at least a dozen times. Sure it could have been better, but most movies could do with some improvement.

I thought Janeane and David worked quite well together, and I agree that Mr. O'Shea made the movie - he was outstanding.

Oh well - I guess on this particular film we'll have to agree to disagree. =)

I was disappointed too, Jaynee. I wanted to like it because I'm such a fan of Janeane, but this one just didn't appeal to me. And I completely agree most films could use improvement. Oh, the things I would tweak here and there. I must admit though...I'm much more lenient about romantic comedies because it's my favorite genre. I just reeeeally LOVE them. I can't wait for LEOPOLD AND KATE to come out. A time travel romcom with Hugh Jackson and Meg Ryan...what could be better?!
