February A Month of Romance : Add URL Here!
This archived discussion is "read only". » Kim_Headlee - Arthur & Guinevere First, I would like to thank Lynne for inviting me to participate in this site!I was pleased -- and surprised -- to see Arthur & Guinevere getting the dragon's share of the votes (so far) in the Favorite Lovers in History poll, especially since it's usually Lancelot & Guinevere who get the romantic press. ;-) So, for all you Arthur-Guinevere fans out there, I am happy to announce a new novel which does explore their romance in a unique but historically plausible setting. DAWNFLIGHT: The Legend of Guinevere, ISBN 0-671-02041-2, is a paperback by Yours Truly published by Pocket Books, now on sale in live and virtual bookstores everywhere, including Amazon.com and its European sister sites, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de. I feel honored that Dawnflight was selected as a Romantic Times Magazine "Top Pick" for November, 1999, and it has been garnering other rave reviews from romance and fantasy venues alike--even from reviewers who admit to being biased against Camelot tales. Links to these online reviews, synopsis, excerpt, etc., can be found on Dawnflight's page at http://www.monumental.com/headlee/dawnfl... My web site also has an Amazon-affiliated Arthurian bookstore, information about my appearances and works in progress, tips and recommended books for writers, and more! See you there, -- posted by Kim_Headlee » Lynne_Remick - Authors and Readers Welcome I would like to take this opportunity to inviteboth authors and readers to share books that in any way deal with the topic of romance.
