Oh sure, I post my blatant and shameless plug for The Lion's Shadow and I put it in the wrong discussion!

So everyone, run quick like a bunny over to the discussion titled "Recommended Historical Romances" and read my post. » Sweet_Will - The Age of Chivalry/ Bullfinch's Mythology

I recently purchased both volumes of Bullfinch's Mythology...#1 The Age of Chivalry and #2 The Age of Fables. Both are loaded with Romance and Romantic couples and they came to be. Both volumes are great for reference material. And a fun read.

If you like dark fantasy, pararnormal, horror, sword & sorcery, time travel, sci-fi/futuristic romances, you might enjoy the dark passion works of multi-published author Charlotte Boyett-Compo. Her webpage is at http://www.windlegends.com.

The novels start with THE KEEPER OF THE WIND, out in paperback but being released in ebook and eReader formats this summer. The Keeper of the Wind is the premier novel in The WindLegends Saga a nine book series of dark fantasy novels that tells the tale of the Prince of the Wind, Conor McGregor and his lady-love, Liza. It is an intricately-woven saga that has the same cast of characters in each book.

Along with the WindLegends Saga is The WindTales Trilogy (prequels to The WIndLegends Saga) that began with WINDFALL (released in November from Dark Star Publications) and continues with WINDCHANCE (being released in March).

The WindTorn Trilogy begins with IN THE TEETH OF THE WIND (releasing this month) and continues with In the Heart of the Wind (coming out in March). This is a contemporary psychological thriller series dealing with policemen and the women they love.
