Svali,
I have had extensive therapy and was hospitalized at National Treatment Center for DID/MPD in California.
Now I live in Washington. I had thought I was done, but people are telling me I sometimes say things to them I don't remember. I also discovered, when I tried to stop taking Klopin for anxiety that I must have a previously undiscovered part because I became complusively suicidal. I know I will either have to take this drug for the rest of my life (I'm 63) or I will have to hospitalize myself to be safe in withdrawal.
I don't know any places near me that are knowledgable about DID and drug addiction. Do you?
I am seeing a counselor now and have a nurse who supervises my medications but I can't keep myself safe 24/7 unless I put myself into a hospital. Please help with any information you might have.
