Cash Balance, Anyone?

I'll be doing an article in the next few months
on cash balance retirement plans. Basically, within companies that convert to cash balance, these plans have been controversial because they tend to favor younger workers and to reduce the payout benefit more tenured workers would have expected from a previous plan.

I would love to chat with any of you who have gone through this, and to find out if these plans are -- especially for you "more tenured" people -- as
lousy in practice as the press has been saying. Do let me know -- Ann
