In response to Re: A very fascinating article Darlene. posted by DarCheek:Thank you for your kind words Darlene, and for sending the Reiki. I will keep you posted. I am still looking for a hypnotist in my area. I will check out the course too, although I find my brain, does not retain, and the study is in vain! Lol! Truly though, my short term memory loss keeps me from taking on too much. But I will look at it. Thanks again. I can't wait to read the next article. Printed out lots of them yesterday. -- posted by WordCharmer » mastiffs2005 - Memory and hypnosis... In response to Re: Re: A very fascinating article Darlene. posted by WordCharmer:Susan, I also have to work around fibro fog and memory loss to use my hypnosis! What I do is print out the hypnosis scripts and then tape them by reading the printed page and recording it! Then, I can just lie down and listen to my tape without having to worry that I'm leaving anything out or analyzing my tape. All I can say is, thank goodness for tapes! LOL I don't know if I've given you this info before, but to find a good hypnotherapist in your area, try http://www.iact.org - It's the International Association of Counselors and Therapists that I received my hypnotherapy certification through, and they should have a listing of people who practice in all areas. Some people do better on therapeutic issues if they are working with a hypnotherapist rather than trying to do it themselves. I manage lots of things using self-hypnosis, but on the smoking, I was helped by my hypnosis teacher! I'll keep you on my Reiki list, and I hope it helps for your highest good! ((((HUGS)))) Hopefully around the first of the year, I'll be able to buy a program for the computer to record downloadable hypnosis tapes - I'll be sure to let you know! Love & Hugs, -- posted by mastiffs2005 » Rosee - Permission needed.. Dar you certainly have made it much clearer to me about sending Reiki now. Here I was trying to send Ron Reiki while he was in the hospital without his permission and could have caused all sorts of confusion.-- posted by Rosee » mastiffs2005 - Re: Permission needed.. In response to Permission needed.. posted by Rosee:I'm glad it's clearer to you now, Mare! And yes, that blanket permission to send Reiki sure comes in handy! Yes, sometimes your Reiki will just turn on when you're near someone who is ill, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's flowing to them. I think of it more as a psychic signal than a "sending reiki" experience. How's Ron doing, btw? Love & Hugs, -- posted by mastiffs2005 » Rosee - Re: Permission needed.. In response to Re: Permission needed.. posted by DarCheek:Re:Ron..today was his first day of actually feeling more normal he says. He went to work for most of the day and is still up watching TV and that is a first in ten days. So time will tell and of course the heart specialist appt and stress test. He thinks it will be the shortest stress test in history. -- posted by Rosee » mastiffs2005 - Re: Re: Permission needed.. In response to Re: Permission needed.. posted by Rosee:Is he letting you Reiki him now? It sounds like he's healing very slowly, so he may very well be resistant. I'm anxious to know how his stress test comes out - I'm sure you and he are, too! My f-i-l, who has had SO many heart problems, came over for a visit yesterday and actually got out and walked our whole property - we even lost site of him for a while LOL He came back and said he felt great being able to get out like that! I hope he makes it a habit - fresh air, sunshine, and exercise - what else could a heart doctor prescribe, eh? Keeping you and Ron in my prayers!
