I've posted a full-length review of Forever on our web site. Pete Hamill is a wonderful writer, but I think he bit off more than he could chew with this book. It's very long and moves slowly, if at all at times. If you're from New York City or interested in the history of the city, you might enjoy this book more than I did.-- posted by wrgvt
