» Minnie - Any resources?

Hi Sara,

Would you know of any books that have activities for group activities that could be used to teach group cooperation to fourth graders?

In response to message posted by Minnie:

Wow -- that's a tough one! :-) Are you thinking of any specific activities (i.e., arts and crafts)? I'm not quite sure what you have in mind here, but in terms of encouraging group cooperation, there's no reason why you couldn't pick a book that you think the fourth graders will enjoy (Harry Potter or something similar, for instance), and assign a project for the group to do together based on the book. You could have them act out a skit -- that way everyone would have to take a part -- or do a puppet show, something like that.

Sorry that I'm not really able to answer your question. If you give me more specifics about activities, I might be able to be more helpful.

Thanks for stopping by Reading for Kids and Teens!
