My son and I had several books that were "predictable" in nature. We read these together, taking turns, each reading our favorite parts. He is now ten and reads far above grade level and is in the gifted and talented program. I attribute his academic success in part to good genetics smile, but largely to his early acquired love and respect for reading. Happy Holidays to you and yours and thanks for all your hard work. I look forward to working with you in the New Year.

Thanks again for reading and commenting Colleen. It's great to hear parents sharing how these things really do work.

I hope you also enjoy your Christmas time with your family and friends.
