What a great article! Nice links and great thoughts. I firmly believe that the number of books found in a child's home relates directly to that child's level of academic success. Reading aloud is sooo important for soooo many reasons, oral language development being just one. I couldn't have "said" any of this any better than you have written it here! (Excuse my play on words.) Thanks for the good work, Julie.
