» Connie00 - Tree Skirt Pattern

I am looking for an easy pattern for Christmas Tree skirts. Would rather not do applique and most of the patterns I find are just that. Any ideas or publications I can browse please let me know. Thanks, Connie

Connie - Thanks for posting your question on the Discussions at Quilts and Quilting. I have a few suggestions for your tree skirt. In the Christmas fabric section of fabric stores, I have found panels prepared for a tree skirt. Check to see if
there are some quilted panels that only need to be hemmed or bound.
Our daughter-in-law made a lovely skirt for my husband and me by making a 45 inch circle of fabric and fusing the outlines of the hand of every member of our family around the edge. Then she stiched zig zag around each. Added a ruffle, some thin batting, and we treasure it.
Are you familiar with fusible web? Easy as can be, drop me an email, I would be glad to explain how to do it.
Thanks for writing.

Believe it or not, my first tree skirt was a Vogue pattern. Very easy patchwork. Still beautiful, still in use.
I also took a class in making a tree skirt at Joanne Fabrics. Completed in 2 sessions. A class kind of forces you to finish...most of the time...
