Hi Julie! Yes, I've tried the Missing Link product and found it very good for Maggie's coat. Previous to supplimenting her diet she was scratching during our cold season (too cold for fleas) and I felt it may have been due to a lack of oils in her diet. Any other Missing Link user's out there?

» Julie - Hi again, Well I finally found "Missing Link" at a local heal

Hi again,

Well I finally found "Missing Link" at a local health food store. My dog has been taking it for a couple of weeks now and I
have noticed a remarkable difference -- his skin is much less dry. He seems to like the taste of it too :-)

The only problem is that it comes in a huge bag (and must be used up within 6 weeks). The lady at the store said I could keep it in the freezer after I open it and give it to my dog from there. What do you think?

thx

Hi Julie! Glad you found the product and that it has had a favourable effect. My suggestion would be to find a friend who is interested in the product too and share.... that way you half the cost and the shelf time.

» Brandy - I am also an adovcate of The Missing Link. It worked for my dog

I am also an adovcate of The Missing Link. It worked for my dog, Tsuwa, as she scratched the side of her face until she had almost no whiskers. After two weeks I noticed a small, but noticable difference. Now she's been on it for over 3 months and she hardly scratches at all anymore!

I have mentioned it to others as well, but one of my friends (my agility instructor) could not use it because her dog is allergic to Kelp. So be sure to read the ingredients if you know that your dog has certain allergies.

Hi Brandy! Great page Tsuwa! That's a good tip about the possiblity of an allergic reaction. I have to admit I've stopped giving Maggie her Missing Link now that we're in the warmer season here.
