Hi I just found a Pretty Punch Shoppettes that was my grandmother's, and I kinda understand how to do punch embroidery, but I don't know how you get the string in through the pretty punch, then the needle!!!!!!????? So if somebody could PLEASE HELP ME!!?? That would be GREAT!! I've searched everywhere for help, but so far no luck thanks!

If it has a hole down the middle get some very fine wire from a beeding supply store. take a piece double the length of the needle. Bend in the middle and secure the ends with silver tape. then feed the wire down the needle from the needle end down and out of the back of the handle itself. Put in thread and pull gently back out and the thread should be caught in the wire. If the wire is fine enough you can then feed it through the needle eye, capture the thread again and pull through the eye of the needle. Otherwise, moisten the end of the thread and thread it through the eye of the needle as you would with a regular sewing needle. Hope this helps.cmf
