When a religous fanatic and nationalist extremist murdered Israel's Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin, the whole nation here in Israel was in shock for several months.

The first I heard of the Bible Codes was when most of our dailies took up the Codes, showing that with their help it would have been possible to predict (avoid) that murder.

And here is my problem with those Codes. The alleged possibility to find a prediction tool which might be used to change future channels and thus, finally, also change the past, which disturbs me very much. I find it impinges upon my free will and in final analysis it is liable to create guilty feelings - not upon the murdered but upon the innocent.

Therefore I opted for the easy way out - and refused to give credit to those Codes...
