Susan is blessed to have a husband who gives her all the time she needs to write (and she knows it) -- posted by WebbQuest » humorous_sage - Re: Re: Support In response to Re: Support posted by WebbQuest:I'm also lucky. Although I'm a member of "The Over the Hill Gang," my wife still provides me with full support. That gives me motivation to help with the dishes et al. Oh yes, it also gives me reason to go hunting for special eating places so she can get a day off once in a while. Some very small towns in Minnesota have excellent eateries. Miltona is one. Ever hear of it? Their #1 eatery has wonderful Sweedish chicken. How is the beautiful writing gig going? I felt so proud of you when you landed that one. I've never heard of "Miltona." What a neat name. I think Janet Blaylock, my dear friend and Suite101-er, may join our discussion. AND I've let Susan, the interviewee, know to check-in too! I'm thinking of asking some exciting children's authors to share interviews here, by the way -- posted by WebbQuest » humorous_sage - Re: Re: Re: Re: Support In response to Re: Re: Re: Support posted by WebbQuest:Hi: Miltona is a huge metropolis of over 100 people. Still, they support two good eating places. The Swedish chicken I had there was the best I've eaten since visiting the Outback. BTW, it is on Minnesota State Highway 29 about 30 miles beyond Alexandria. -- posted by humorous_sage » WebbQuest - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Support In response to Re: Re: Re: Re: Support posted by humorous_sage:Hank, Those eateries sound unique and good enough to encompass into your writing. ;) -- posted by WebbQuest » humorous_sage - Food In response to Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Support posted by WebbQuest:Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to write on out-of-the-way eateries one of these days. I am one of those lucky guys who is both underweight and who loves to eat. -- posted by humorous_sage » humorous_sage - Re: Re: Food In response to Re: Food posted by WebbQuest:How about something on "out-of-the-way eateries to avoid for the sake of your ulcers?" -- posted by humorous_sage » WebbQuest - Re: Re: Re: Food In response to Re: Re: Food posted by humorous_sage:Laughing out loud! Or: "Live the Day like it's Your Last at an Out-of-the-Way Eatery?" -- posted by WebbQuest » humorous_sage - 4 WX In response to Re: Re: Re: Food posted by WebbQuest:I've tried a few of those risky out-ofr-the-way eateries. I found most of them while doing my time in the USAAF. My job as a weatherman, however, was a real good assignment. -- posted by humorous_sage « Previous 1 2 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
