» Maryel - You are a poet

You are a poet or at least you write like a poet even when you are writing about technology. I enjoyed this article, however with technology I still can't read between the lines. By the way the picture of your daughters is wonderful. They are both beautiful little girls. thanks ME

In response to message posted by Maryel:

Thank you Mary Ellen, I knew about "technical writers" - but "technical poets" was new to me - LOL

Fact is that I found that while using technology, most of us are not interested in the technology itself. We are interested in the use - the result of technology. That’s why I try to look at software from a user point of view - not the technical part. Expect the technical part work well as long as the result are given?

If I read a technical review praising a software product to the seventh heaven - then when I download and install it, it just don’t give what I expect from the product... Then it’s not a good product in my book - as software should be good for the user and not a technical reviewer alone.

Same goes for my oldest daughter, if the marketing department of an ice cream company say "everybody" like their new ice cream - and my daughter just don’t like it at all. Then I know that not “everybody” like their new ice cream - just "some"...

Thanks ((-:
