» Brian_Hughes - Many thanks

for the honourable mention AA... that's quite a picture you paint.

Nothing quite like answering the call of nature for making one comfortable. (-:

you are welcome, and that was quite a link and story you gave about the first human in space. Thanks for that one! Starting freestyle now, I expect you soon will come with an article about free model boat building sites - lol

I'll look forward to the next issue, Arnvid. By the way, hope your birthday was as awesome as this site you portray in your excellent prose!

The birthday was nice, my daughter was on her first dinner Nile cruise. 3 year old she found out that she needed a boat. When she looked out the big windows on the Nile she said, "no car here?" - I try to learn as well all the time.

Thanks for coming on into the special adventure of the desert, and thanks for kind words.

» Maryel - What a wonderful adventure

What a wonderful adventure. I remember the starry nights in Egypt and the endless desert. I remember the special light that is nowhere else.
You have made me homesick for this special place. Although I have not lived there in this life, the deja vue that I felt when I visited there, makes me think perhaps in another life. Thank you Arnvid. ME

Hi Mary Ellen, yes for us who seen starry nights in Egypt - well we just not forget it.

If I can make you even more homesick, then I would be very happy - but then you should include some days into the desert and it's oasis. Desert around Cairo and the Nile Valley are unique - but standing far away from any human settlement, deep in the desert with the cosmos all around. Any another life suddenly come part of the one you stand in - so thank you Mary Ellen for defining the undefinable.

For all of you who have not followed Mary Ellen into Egypt yet, start with her first article from Egypt: The Magic Begins.
