Great writing again Mr. Cooper. I may be wrong but with regards to Hays i have never heard of a battle or skirmish called Couth Mountain. Should this not be South Mountain, in Maryland? As you are aware of there were over 10,000 battles and or skirmishes. And as much as i enjoy the civil war history i do not know all of them.

Yes, you are correct. It is a typo, and should be South Mountain, not Couth Mountain. I will make this article uncouth immediately. Thanks for pointing out the typo, which allows me to correct it.
