» Tina_Coruth - Outstanding series!

Hi John,

What an outstanding series this is. Webb Hayes was a unique man, obviously very charming and very courageous. As always, I have enjoyed my visit and learned a lot. The photos are wonderful. Thank you!

Tina

Thanks for the kind words, Tina. Both these men were equally as fascinating and colorful as their fathers. They did great things in so many fields, and still fell in the shadow of their famous fathers. Glad you liked this series.

Thanks for the kind words. That my article(s) make you proud of your country is a high compliment indeed. These two men were truly fascinating characters, and I, too, enjoyed learning more about them.

Since he wrote charming letters, did he write anything else? I wonder if he was a writer of books or articles. Also, do you suppose a president today could hire his own child as a secretary without the press getting critical?
