I knew the answer to this, but a technical problem has kept me offline for a day or so. Actually, this was an earlier trivia question.

Not only did Teddy receive the MOH, but so did his son during World War II, making them (I believe) only the second father-son duo to receive the MOH.

It could be McArthur. Arthur McArthur would be awarded his MOH for Missionary Ridge in Nov of 63' And his son Douglas was awarded the MOH for taking a submarine ride to the Land Down Under.in 42'

FortBrooke is correct, Clive. The first father and son were the MacArthurs. The father won it in the Civil War, and the son in World War II.

Mug I just wanted to say that the Clive Cussler who visited your site might very well have been the same Clive Cussler who has been given credit for finding the CSS HUNLEY in Charleston Harbor,SC
I thought I recongized his name and sure enough it was Clive Cussler. Clive asked the question about the Medal of Honor. You just never know who might stop by and say hello. LOL
