Yes, I hate this book too! I have read Babywise I, Childwise, and some of Preteenwise and Teenwise. I think Ezzo is trying to make children into machines and program them rather than teach them with love. Yes, babies on his plan cry less, but only because they learn at a young age that no one will come when they need someone. That's incredibly sad. I couldn't believe how twisted his reasoning was and how easily destroyed his arguments were by repeated medical experiments. Thanks for posting this, it's such an important article.

In my local area, we also have a problem with some physicians actually recommending this book to expectant parents! I wonder what types of adults these children, who keep having their needs ignored by the people they trust most, will become?
