» rkmgospel - short luteal phase and breastfeeding

Hi, I have been learning so much recently about my cycle and have been charting. I have a short luteal phase, around 8-9 days. However, I am still breastfeeding my 14 month old daughter. My dh and I are anxious to be blessed again with another baby. I have tried cutting her breastfeeding time down some, but I do not want to wean her completely. Is Progesterone cream safe to use while breastfeeding? Another question I have is how long should I continue with the cream after ovulation? Has anyone else had the problem of breastfeeding and try to conceive? Apparently prolactin decreases progesterone resulting in the LPD. Thanks, Brenley
