Good start on the subject. I feel very, very strongly that as followers of Jesus, we should... follow Jesus.

He never compromised truth or conscience. He lived as a Jew within the Jewish culture of his day (weddings included).

Paul followed Jesus.. and said to follow him as he followed Christ. Paul travelled all over, into many different culutures. He said there was neither Jew nor Greek, etc. in Christ.

My point? Let's draw clear lines where Scripture draws clear lines. On matters of opinion/conscience (see Paul writing Timothy), GIVE PEOPLE ROOM TO BREATHE!!!!!!!!! As non-Christians see how we REALLY live (as stated above) as believers, I believe they will be drawn to the Christ living in and thru us.
