» melgold - You read my mind... Somehow we were on the same wavelength about the Grammy winners. I had a feeling that Sheryl Crow would win, for instance, even though she did that atrocious cover of "Sweet Child." I don't know why I like her--I just do, anyway.Sting's win was a kind of upset. I mean, if you look at the nominees, Sting is hands-down the head-and-shoulders choice above the other newcomers. I was certain Ricky Martin would take home the award, and the performances on the show (all the Latin performances) led up to the Best Male award. It led up to a Latin singer to win. But you know what? Sometimes the best man does finish first. I've also got a poll going on about the Grammies. Check it out.
