Joel: I stated in my three posts since yesterday in which it was appropriate that I doubt--not that I have "conclusive evidence"--that the estimated figures were included in the tallies you cited. All of a sudden you choose to attack this belief? My belief was based on quick perusal of the GAO reports... What is your belief based on, other than blind insistence that you must be right and I wrong?

Just so you don't have to go to all the trouble of backscrolling, here are snippets of the three posts in question:

1. the $17 mil figure is probably only the amount Starr is required to report.

2. Also, remember that your $17 figure didn't count (I bet) any of the estimated accounting

3. the $8 was to represent the total of non-itemized [i.e., estimated] expenditures which I think were not tallied in the 17 mil figure

Really, you're beginning to look quite desperate.
