Penna. has a Constitutional Party that runs on the theme that we have departed greatly from the freedoms our citizens once had.

I just discovered this recently listing to an election debate. Not utopian, like the Libertarian's but, making more sense than the Republican Revolution that recently was voting in favor of Clinton's 100,000 new teachers. (AKA, if we can't beat them, join them.)

As usual, I enjoyed my visit to your article.

I think I might be more sympathetic to a "Nanny State" if the people running it were more endowed with intellect and common sense than the ones who are here now.

A good example of this, is, I think, the air bag issue. And today I heard someone saying something that sure sounded to me like a state recommendation against eating well done food. I guess that Saddam Hussein, the so-called "global economy", crime, y2k, ect. still leaves government too much free time. Maybe we need more crises to keep these folks focused.
