How typical of kids and a joy to read. I do love your stories, David!

» Red - delightful..

Dan,

Have you been watching my grandsons. The younger one is very competitive and his older brother is not. This causes lots of arguments between them. They always seem to sort them out within a few minutes and it seldom comes to blows. Sibling rivalry? A great idea for an article on my Kids' Korner topic. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks Mary. smile Kids are so full of energy in their play activities, especially during the summer break, that they sometimes forget to just have fun-- and not compete. Luckily, we have people like Kim to remind them what fun is all about.

David, you certainly captured rivalry and bickering among kids. I have to admit that looooooooooong ago, when my brothers and I went through this stage, we didn't seem to be able to end it so quickly or amicably. I guess we needed a Kim to help out. Good story!

Thank you, Tina. smile It's true that we miss out on so much fun if we are absorbed in trying to make ourselves look good. Kim knew that, and she cared enough for her friends to be the voice of reason.
