I've taught my grandsons that and they often make gifts and cards. I see you're finding your way around the Suite and Kids' Korner. There's lots to be found here on all subjects. I'm sure you will find articles written by others that will pique your interest. Glad to have you as part of the Kids' Korner team. I look forward to future articles here. -- posted by Red » IsraelDan - Re: Re: Re: Re: Bet your Mom In response to Re: Re: Re: Bet your Mom posted by Red:Thanks. Kid's Korner is definitely an interesting place. I'm sure most kids find it a fascinating area to come to; there's not too many places like this one on the Web, with so much to read and do- just for them. A great group of writers you have here, and I am pleased to join the team. - David -- posted by IsraelDan » Veesuite - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Bet your Mom In response to Re: Re: Re: Re: Bet your Mom posted by IsraelDan:Hi David, I enjoyed your first article very much. At my Dried Flower Crafts topic, I include projects for kids and have suggested making special cards using bits of flowers along with their artistic creativity. Giving something handmade is always worth so much because it takes a lot of thought and comes from the heart. Good luck! -- posted by Veesuite » IsraelDan - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Bet your Mom In response to Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Bet your Mom posted by Veesuite:I completely agree- handmade is the best. That's an excellent and beautiful idea to use the dried flowers on the front; do you mind if I make a link to your article from mine? - David

Welcome to Kids Korner, David. Great first article. Handmade cards and gifts just seem to have a special touch to them. Kids will appreciate the tips on how to make their own. -- posted by Joy Butler » IsraelDan - Re: Re: Re: Wonderful idea! In response to Re: Re: Wonderful idea! posted by JButler:Thanks Joy. Once kids try it, I think they'll favor making the cards every year; it's a lot more fun than searching the stores. - David -- posted by IsraelDan » tamara_peters - Re: Re: Re: Re: Wonderful idea! In response to Re: Re: Re: Wonderful idea! posted by IsraelDan:David, I also enjoyed your article very much. Some of my most prized possessions are the cards made for me by my children. Now that they're grown I don't get them any more. I sure miss getting those cards. Now I think I'll start making some of my own. Sure, definitely write the cards; everyone enjoys receiving that kind. - David -- posted by IsraelDan » Dubh_Sidhe - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Wonderful idea! It's been a great experience so far, and I always appreciate kind and understanding people like you over here. Those good experiences in R&S helped prompt me to apply for the position. I'm certainly excited to be doing this! - David -- posted by IsraelDan « Previous 1 2 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
