Great article about one of America's treasured poets. I had the pleasure of seeing Kunitz at the 2000 Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival. He was interviewed by Gerald Stern. You've got to admire a person who, in their 90s, still has such a devotion to the craft and promotion of poetry.

I recently read a collection of Kunitz's poetry and loved it! Thanks for bringing Kunitz to the attention of others through Suite101!
