» w_benefield - Unconventional Hi,Welcome to Suite101. I enjoyed your first article a blue collar poet is certainly unconventional and something that probably makes his work more attractive to the reader. I look forward to reading your future articles on Suite101. -- posted by w_benefield » cswitwer - Welcome! Welcome to Suite101.com, Bernadette! You're off to a great start! I really enjoyed your article. There's a coffee shop near my house-- with a gas station and small grocery store across the street. All three places sell chapbooks and have framed personalized poems on the walls from the neighborhood poet, Albert Huffstickler. He's in his 80's, uses the "f" word a lot, and sees things so beautifully. You see him walking down the street and you have no idea his vision is as refreshing and magical as it is (unless you've figure out who he is). I guess it just goes to show poets are everywhere! I hope you love writing here at the Suite as much as I do! Best, -- posted by cswitwer » BernieGeyer - Thanks! Thanks to everyone who's offered up their "welcome" and to everyone who's complimented the article. This is a fantastic community!Bernadette -- posted by BernieGeyer » pamela_saint - Poetry Hi Bernadette,I've recently taken some of the summer down time to revisit poetry, so I'm thrilled to find your new column. I enjoy reading poetry particularly because when a poem engages you, it can be so unpredictable; you learn something new every time you read it. Looking forward to more articles! -- posted by pamela_saint
