Hello,
Are there other playwrights who might want to read each other's work and give meaningful critiques? I've been looking for such a group online. I've been directing and teaching theatre for 10+ years and have been playwriting almost as long.
Thanks,
Laura Lewis-Barr

That's not a bad idea. With over 400 people who subscribe to this topic, there may be many who feel the same. If you'd like, I could create a bulletin for this with your email as the point of contact. Let me know.

If you do form a reading group, I'd be happy to participate. Since 1996, my plays have received 12+ productions and staged readings (incl. in New York City, Washington DC, and London) and 3 awards.

Since there is definite interest in creating a reading group/interactive forum for playwrights, I will research into how we set such a thing up here at Suite101, and then present the information in my next article.

Dave, did this ever come about? Would really love to be a part of it if it has. Thanks, Tod
