» FortBrooke1824 - Good job Cindy

I found your article informative and truthful.

During the 1980's I had the pleasure to work as one of Mel Fisher's divers on the 1715 wreck on the east coast of Florida. While pirates had nothing to do with the Spanish gallons demise some of them did do some looting after the Spanish had left.

Its been so long ago, but I think one of them was Bellamy. Sorry for the spelling as it may be incorrect.

At any rate it was fun to find those pieces of eight and other Spanish artifacts. I was somewhat surprised how modern some of the technology was during that period.

Keep up the good work and take care.
