» nill - Physically challenged children in Physical Education

The parent of a physically challenged child wishes to have that child exempted from Physical Education classes stating that fear for the safety of their child.
Explain in detail to the parent the objectives of Physical Education stressing the one you think most appropriate to ensure a positive impact on the health and well being of the child and to alleviate their fears.

I would think that the parent/physician knows his or her own child better than any teacher ever could, and should be rewarded respect for their wishes when it comes to the safety of their physically challenged child.
