I love the title of your topic, Maureen. ". . . all creatures great and small" is one of my favorite hymns, fast moving and with a with great harmony to play on the organ, and one about which the congregation of any age gets really enthusiastic. I hope that you get the same response from readers for your topic as I get when playing the hymn.

Thank you for your kind words, Traute. It is one of my favourite hymns. I can't take credit for the title, Beth came up with it after I muddled around with several other ideas.

I see your topic is now launched and it is awesome. My older 2 boys are very artistic and they get that from their father, trust me. :-)

With your qualifications and experience in the area of art, you are a natural for inspiring our readers.

Like you, I'm very pleased to be part of this new Community.

» biogardener - Not so fastq

Not so fast, Maureen, don't give your hubby all the credit for the children's creativity. What I am trying to get across to my readers is that we are all born creative, and that means you. Don't sell yourself short. Hang around my topic, and you will find out what I mean.

Hi Traute - I will come back to your topic. I read your article and it really made me think back of childhood and even adulthood. So many times, we lose our our confidence or just give up. I admire you for your perseverence as a youngster and never giving up.

I am happy to see that you have not given up on this topic, Maureen, in spite of all your other duties. I have just posted a message in the Editors Discussion entitled "Animals Event" which I would like you to look at.
