» yol_chields - introducing new rats?

i have two rats. i was told they were both males and just found out that one is acutally a female. since i dont want them breeding, i seperated them. ive read that they can develop social problems if theyre alone in a cage. i was thinking about buying two new rats, but i was curious as to wether i could just bring in a new rat?
