Rats health: Sick Rats

I have raised rats before until they died of old age. Several weeks ago I got a baby rat at our local pet store for my son. This rat was not as lively as I'm used to. Several times I thought he was sneezing, but wasn't sure. 3 weeks later, my son got up one more and the rat was dead. I cleaned out the cage with 10% bleach solution as recommended to me. I called the pet store and they said they had no problems. I suspect he had a respiratory problem when we got him. Long story short. On Monday, I went back to that pet store and this time got my son a "blue rat". He was lively, active, and 2 days later...dead.

Any thoughts?
