It would be more accurate to describe my "learning" Perl as "investigating" Perl, but I have found "Perl: your visual blueprint for building Perl scripts" (IDG Books, ISBN 0764534785) to be understandable to a genuine newbie. I'm hoping that exploring PERL and other tools will allow me to load an interactive MS-Access database on our library's web pages.
