» carole11 - an edgy way of existing

one of the best articles i've read here - real, well written and funny in its tragedy of these students
made me regret my mispent youth - would love to have spent time with kids like these

thanks paola for a wonderful article

I like the author's intimate connections with her students.I was wondering who would become a girlfriend of an ingenuous 15 year old boy at 32 unless she is the author herself!(Well, I am ion jest in honour of a sex appreciative author!) It is in the spirit of "Go on/be bad/it might do you some good." There are those 'Bodhisattva' female teachers out there who would not mind giving young boys a exhilarating rite of passage that renders the memory of the teacher doubtlessly indefinite! Therefore, I really appreciate the phrase, "The launch ended my involvement with the school. I hoped students would continue to write poetry". Her devotion must be so invaluable for her students there!
