Welcome to Suite 101 and the Tacky Yard Art contest, Lawrence. And we would be most honored to hear what you have tyo say about our entries. After all, I suspect that your level of expertise is much higher than we younglings who may not have lived for even half a century yet.

BTW - I happen to like pink pants - and I don't inhale either.

Hey Bro! We're all related... Looks like you could be from my mother's side of the family. Everyone related to dad has bowlegs like me. You got off easy with those charmers though... Maybe it's because you don't smoke? Or is that a stogie I see slipped in behind your wrist?

I've been looking at the tacky yard art up on display, and think I like the platypus alot, but don't find it particularly tacky. In fact, I have not seen that much which is really all that tacky yet. Doesn't anyone ever plant up swans and lambs around here?

Hey wait a second -- what is tacky? Has this already been defined in another discussion here?

I think Tacky is in the mind of the beholder, Larrygnome (I like that, Robert!) But tomorrow the answers to the tacky quiz will come out, and you can check for yourself on what seems to be tacky - or argue with my pronouncements, if you like. I expect you're much more of an expert than I am, having been around so long and seen so much. I'll bet you have some stories to tell!

The Tackiness Quiz was just too long for a regular article - but now you can see the entire quiz, compelete with scoring options. Maybe it will help to define Tacky. Find out here And I'll be checking back with you to see if you agree.

» Jojo - a good gnome collectors site

Hello Maddie

A good place to start looking might be the following website...

The Gnomehunter. If you can't find information about it on the website itself it seems the webmaster of that site is open to e-mail inquiries.

I hope this helps
