» Darster - twins

So right, it is an adventure from day one. My twins are fraternal, and they run in my family too! Pregnancy not only went full term, it went 41 weeks and I had to have labor induced!

Darla: Wow - I think you're the first person I've met who went full term (plus). How big were your twins and what are they (boys/girls). I'm impressed! And the adventure continues!

» Mommy247 - New and used twin clothes for a reasonable price...

Hello,
I am a mother of twin 2 and a half year old boys.
I don't have much time, so I'll get to the point.
I live in a small city, Caledonia Ontario, and have never found a twin group close enough to go to.
My children were blessed with only the best in clothing.
They were two months premature, so you can imagine how many tiny untouched newborn outfits I received and purchased. Now that I'm moving to the U.S. I would just love to find someone to sell these items to.
This is what I have(of course everything is in doubles)
4 101L Totes full of infant clothing 0-24mths, outfits, socks, some brand new or worn once.
Only brand names: Osh Kosh, Mr. Denton, Disney and Peter Rabbit. Also hand made knits items with hat, booties, and jumpers( in doubles of course)
I also have a box of cute shoes and sandals, even tiny winter boots.
I hope someone who really could use these beautiful items, Twins calling--got to go.

» Dee1955 - I have triplets, and it's great fun now!

Hi ya, I know this is a twins area, but I can't find a triplets place, so thought I'd drop a note here. I have seven-year-old triplets, who arrived at 32 weeks and 2 days, but were all breathing room air OK, and only needed to grow a bit before going home. It was hard at first, since we had no help, and I was alone with the babies while my husband was at work. It can be done, however, and was, and I am happy to say that my husband helped a lot. In the early months, he took over all the grocery shopping, and outside errands, and came home every night and cooked dinner for himself and me! Then, he would watch the babies for a while so that I could take a nap (since I needed to feed each baby once every 3 hours day and night at first, that nap was a great gift!) Once the kidlets started walking, and then talking, and then hopping and skipping (!!), it all turned into the best fun ever! Nowadays, we have great times together, and I have to say that life is better with kidlets! Regards to all the mothers of twins, and the mothers of kids to come! Dee

Wow: more power to you - triplets. I love the term "Kidlets", it's great. It's also great that your hubby was such a great help. What are your kids: boys or girls?

Hi Carrie,

My cousins all have twin boys, so I was sure I would get 3 boys, but I was lucky enough to get 2 boys and 1 girl. Oddly enough, my daughter, and one of the boys look almost exactly alike. She has longer hair and a cuter smile, but they have exactly the same features, and are the same size. When they were babies, i had to dress my daughter in pink, or I couldn't tell her from her brother. My other boy is an inch shorter, rather slimmer, and looks more like my husband's elder brother than either of us!!! He has the same hair and eyes as the other 2, but his face is longer, and his features a little different. He is the one who is best at math, my daughter is best at language arts, and my other boy is a really good builder...just give him a bag of odd Lego parts, and he's off and away! I love having multiples, and am thankful that I got both sexes, since I won't be able to do it again!!! The kidlets are 7 now, and I'm going to be 48 in a few months time...yikes, who, ME??? :-) They keep me hopping, however, so I do stay fit! Regards to all kidlet's moms, and the moms to be! Cheers, Dee

They were 6 lbs 14 oz and 7 lbs 4 oz.
They are now nearly 12 years old smile

I had another pregnancy in 2003, he was overdue also, and now I am pregnant again and I expect to be overdue! The O/B told me that my cervix is long (?) so that is probably why.
