My 15 yr old told me a week ago Thursday that he does not smoke. Friday morning his mom caught him red handed. Friday evening, I relieved him of his smokes.
Tonight, 10 days later, I relieved him of another pack.
I have always told my kids that I would not allow tobacco, drug, nor alcohol use while they are living at home, and do not see why I should change my tune now.
What can I do?
I did not freak out on him at all when I relieved him of either pack. While I feel that I have been more than patient with him, I fear that I may soon find the limit of my patience.
There are other issues, many of them, but seek to win this one.
Advice please.
