» Myrrha - Initiation

Initiation has special meaning to the individual
as well as the working group. Depending on whether you are a practicing solitaire or a
member of a group that works together, your choice
to dedicate yourself to the Goddess and a chosen
spiritual path can be formally committed in many
ways. I suggest reading one of the following for ideas: CovenCraft, AmberK; To Ride a Silver
Broomstick, Raven SilverWolf; Sacred Living, Robin Hereens Lysne; Wicca: A Guide to the Solitary Practicioner, Scott Cunningham.

If you want to email me and let me know what city
and state you live in, I may be able to provide
you with a few contacts.

Blessings,

Hi!

I've been looking for a religion with the beliefs Wiccanism has for a long while. I would really like to become one but how do I innitiate myself?

Please email me because I'm not sure if I'll come back to this. My address is redren@mulderandscully.co.uk

Thankyou for your help.

Blessed Be.

One place I usually recommend a person start if
they're interested in Pagan group is to check with
their local Unitarian Universalist Church to see
if they support a CUUPs group. If they don't, then try your local new age or esoteric shop.

Later,

In response to message posted by Myrrha:

I have been through so many churches and Religions , that I am nothing but confused. But I keep coming back too looking into Wicca. I even joined a Mormon church thinking I could find what I was looking for there to no avail. I have read some on the subject but been a bit uneasy about how to start. I suffer from a heart defect, which makes me question the theory of an all loving God. How can he be all good and all loving and create a person who will be a burden on others all their life?
I just need advice, and I think maybe Wicca is the way for me.
Please any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
