Thanks for your article...I hope many gardeners will look for some of the resources you suggested and share.

Do you have any sharing experiences you can share with us in a follow-up article smile anecdotes, pictures, etc?

In a similar vein, one of our local garden clubs has an early-summer program they call Bring Spring in which members take flowers, foliage, etc. to local nursing homes which have been scheduled on a list. Sometimes the members or activity directors make up bouqets, other times residents join in. The idea is that each year, each resident of nursing homes in the county will have something for thir room.
