» sherisse - pumkins need help

this will be my third year trying to grow pumkins and i have not been able to grow a single one yet.i have done my homework this winter and i feel pretty prepared to handle any problems that may arise, but you can never get enough advice.i seem to have cucumber beetles returning every year and the leaves always come down with powdery mildew.vine borers might have even been a problem too.i plan on using row covers and i have a recipe for homemade mildew spray for the leaves, but if anyone out there has been succesful with pumkins that have had my problems, please let me know what worked for you.thanks.

I have already answered your question in the Gardening COI discussions, but in case someone else finds this question here and wants to know the answer, here is the discussion with a link to my sure-fire method of growing the best cucurbits ever. They are definitely my most successful crop of veggies and certainly the easiest to grow for a beginning gardener if you use the organic methods which I learned from my father.
