» jerrib - Wow!

I didn't know Stash tea introduced the mint fields to Oregon. I love to pass by and smell it.

All of these names are familiar. Yum! Hazelnuts are my favorite. My Dad had a tree here and it did real well, but the birds found it and we never got any after that!

Had to laugh at "food for the Gods" expression. When my kids were young we used that term when they asked what was for dinner and knew they wouldn't like it - it came from a science fiction movie. I don't remember which one. I'm a chocoholic and LOVE it. Redbook just published an article on how good it is for you, so I, of course, have to subscribe to that thought!

I love the Made in Oregon stores. We have Made in Washington Stores here. No doubt, Oregon does have a lot of good stuff.

I remember going through the Tillamook factory when I was little - you could go right into it then and look and taste how cheese was made. Not anymore, just look through windows - probably much more sanitary. And you are right. I second the Tillamook cheese in everyone's kitchen. It really is the best. Love it.

Some good choices here. Thanks,

Jerri

Thanks! I tried to find things that are unique to Oregon. I had no idea about the Hazelnuts until I was much older. I've always loved them though.
