» Pdill8 - Recived orchids as gifts

I received 2 phalaenopsis as gifts for my wedding in May. I am not an avid plant care giver, but I really want to make these babies work. I've been doing some reading and am a little insecure about a couple of things.
First, one of the plants came to us in a pot without a hole in the bottom. Everything I've read says this is a bad choice, but most places also advise against repotting...should I let it go, or repot into something with better drainage? Thus far it appears very healthy.

The second issue I'm concerned about is light. I have both plants in the same room. The room has east and southern windows, but the southern is usually shaded. One of the plants ons n the center of the room, about 5 feet away from these very large windows, the other is about 10 feet from the southern, ad on an angle from the western.

Both plants recently long their original blooms, but I assume that is okay since they were in flower for 3 months? One's spike turned brown, so I cut it short, the other remained green, so I left it. This plant also has a secondary spike that has begun flowering.

I appreciate any advice. Thanks.
