» BelgianChocolate - Can you help me?
Hi there!A long time ago, I came across an article about a woman who lived in the first half of the 20th century. I think she was American or British, though I'm not 100% sure. She was a lady who was convinced that she had enough talent to be an opera singer, though sadly the opposite was true. I even managed to download two audio tracks of her performing two opera / operette arias, one of them being the Queen of the Night Aria from Mozart's Magic Flute. The sound quality was not that good, as it was a home recording made in the early 20th century, so it had lots of cracks on it. The files were hilarious though.
Now, many years later, I don't have the sound files anymore, nor do I remember the woman's name. The only thing I remember was that these audio files were just to die for, and I am desparately trying to find out what the woman's name was.
If there is anyone out there who happens to know of this woman, please reply to this message, or e-mail me at joost_vk@hotmail.com.
Many thanks in advance! And keep enjoying the great sonic shapes out there...
