I immediately recognized your description of Freecycle. I love Freecycle. I'm getting rid of a computer monitor through this site and once got an exercise bike. What a great idea someone had!

Joy, glad to hear from someone who has utilized the opportunities that Freecycle offers. Thanks for personalizing the subject, and letting us know the process really works.

I've been trying to think of something I can put up for "adoption" there ever since I read about it. lol I just want to participate in what is such a positive program.

I had never heard of it either, but sure seems like a great idea for a real "free trade" that is more interesting than NAFTA!

Many people think that they will be recycled instead of spending eternity on cloud 9. Who knows. Maybe we will be smarter the second time around -- assuming that there is one.

Heh! Heh! Wouldn't it be terrible to be recycled as a smart bug? Still, so many shoes to worry about! Well, as someone here recently said, (referring to retirement), "I'm not worried about it."

If I returned as something in the animal kingdom, I would surely hope for a vegan owner/keeper. : )

As you imply, worry is often much worse than the event we worry about. I used to worry about impending spankings only to find out that I never got one for that specific worrysome offense.
